“I don’t normally do reviews as I’m technically a dinosaur, but this is really important to me for other women…
After surgery four years ago I was left with chronic pelvic pain. A pain that was never really explained. It impacted on everything in my life physically and emotionally. Just sitting down was so painful. Just taking my grandchildren to the cinema involved pain medication and a pudendal nerve cushion which went everywhere with me. I had lost trust and hope in finding help… until the first time I saw Helen in September 2021. She had the experience and understanding, so recognised the pain issues and complications after my surgery. She gave me confidence that progress wasn’t impossible. Her professional knowledge and previous experience of helping women with pelvic pain was (to be honest) something I wasn’t expecting after so long. I can’t convey in a few words how she has helped me and given me the confidence to help myself to tackle the pain. The treatment is personal but never overwhelming, and any embarrassing questions about my pelvic floor and bowel are dealt with with calm assurance and in a skilled, gentle, safe manner. I can feel real progress and a hope one day to be pain free. Thank you so much Helen”

"Helen is a marvellous practitioner who combines real skill in what she does and warmth of character ensuring that her patients feel relaxed and comfortable. She has looked after me for around 2 years and during that time she has offered me masses of practical tips on how to manage my condition whilst always being available to offer help during crisis points. She has a great can-do attitude and her positivity has helped me through the rough patches to a point where the condition is now being managed and I feel so much more in control. Pelvic pain is something of a taboo subject but Helen’s straightforward and charming manner ensures that I have always felt at ease and able to discuss anything with her. In short she is a marvel and I would recommend her to anyone who is currently suffering in silence".

"Treatment with Helen gave me the confidence to have a second baby, after a horrendous first pregnancy and difficult birth due to my pelvic pain. The treatment meant I was in so much less pain the second time around, and the reassurance I was given at all times really helped"

"When I first met Helen my vulval pain was so severe that I was unable to tolerate an intimate relationship of any kind with my husband. I had given up hope of getting pregnant. Now thanks to Physio and correct medical care I have a one year old son. I would not have believed this was possible prior to starting treatment"
