“I don’t normally do reviews as I’m technically a dinosaur, but this is really important to me for other women…

After surgery four years ago I was left with chronic pelvic pain. A pain that was never really explained. It impacted on everything in my life physically and emotionally. Just sitting down was so painful. Just taking my grandchildren to the cinema involved pain medication and a pudendal nerve cushion which went everywhere with me. I had lost trust and hope in finding help… until the first time I saw Helen in September 2021. She had the experience and understanding, so recognised the pain issues and complications after my surgery. She gave me confidence that progress wasn’t impossible. Her professional knowledge and previous experience of helping women with pelvic pain was (to be honest) something I wasn’t expecting after so long. I can’t convey in a few words how she has helped me and given me the confidence to help myself to tackle the pain. The treatment is personal but never overwhelming, and any embarrassing questions about my pelvic floor and bowel are dealt with with calm assurance and in a skilled, gentle, safe manner. I can feel real progress and a hope one day to be pain free. Thank you so much Helen”
